Hi there, I’m Megan! I love making things, drinking coffee and tea, practicing yoga, all things babies, reading, redwood trees, mint chip ice cream, braided hair, & the color yellow.
I am a yoga teacher, birth doula, DIY-er, who recently left my corporate job. I wanted to take the leap and pursue yoga and birth work full time. I have been a doula for the past five years and served women from Santa Rosa to Santa Cruz. During those years I worked managing a lovely yoga studio, Yogakula, in Berkeley and trained to be a Registered Yoga Teacher. I have taught yoga for the past three years. I began teaching in offices across the bay area and found a love for corporate yoga. Bringing movement and mindfulness into the workplace is such a gift. I have trained to become a Childbirth Educator and Prenatal Yoga Teacher. I have found my passion in serving mamas and want to support them through their journey.
My husband Neil and I recently moved to Santa Rosa, CA after spending the past five years in in Oakland. We are both native-northern Californians hailing from Sonoma and Napa Counties and we met in San Luis Obispo during college. We bought our first home in Oakland in 2014 and after two years and lots of Redfin and Zillow browsing we found our dream home up north. We always wanted to moved to Sonoma County at some point but we found the perfect opportunity and it all seemed to flow. We love working to create a home and are working on finding community in a new (old) area. We are learning how to fix up our home and have many hobbies including beer brewing (mostly Neil), kombucha brewing, cooking crocheting. In our spare time we can be found playing cards or board games to a soundtrack of country music, pop hits and many wonderful oldies.
